Legal Defense - Free Tim

After the sudden death of our mother, my siblings and I bounded together to comfort one another. As time eventually went on we lost touch with each other living our own lives. As we all tried to move on from our mother’s death, Tim, our youngest brother, who was still in high school, struggled the most. He made many attempts toward a normal life after she died, including moving in with one of us and then entering into a youth program. But then in 2014, Tim, 18 at the time, met a girl whom he fell in love with and whose family welcomed him in as their own. It seemed things were looking up.

A year later, the young couple learned that they were expecting a child. They were both very excited and happy about the news. They were emotionally supported by the girlfriend’s family. On January 23rd this year my brother and his girlfriend brought their 3 month old daughter into the hospital because she was unresponsive. After the hospital visit on the 23rd, the police became involved, and now my brother is facing some legal trouble.

Tim will need an attorney with a proven track record in defending caregivers and parents from mistaken accusations.  The attorneys that we are working with are knowledgeable specialists in this area.  They are compassionate and have set a reasonable fee for their services.  To make the case complete, Tim will also need costly expert witnesses to testify that he did not cause the injuries that Cindy has sustained. Tim was always a good kid and earned As and Bs in high school. He was liked by his teachers and church leaders. His dream was to become a paramedic. We are extremely desperate for any financial help to afford a decent attorney to at least give Tim a chance to defend himself. If you could please help us our brother deserves the right to a fair trial. We do not believe the court system will do that; we believe they are going to chew him up and spit him out. The judge that is currently set to oversee this case has already wrongfully convicted 2 women in the same county for similar accusations. Please help us! We do not believe that Tim could have harmed his beautiful baby.  Tim loves his child.  With your generous contribution to his defense, he will be free to go back to work.  He will be able to provide for her as he had planned and he can help her grow up into a strong, healthy little girl.

Dylan Anderson- Patriot and Proud American

Dylan Anderson was one of the Patriots protesting in the occupation of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Burns, OR. When the protests took an ugly turn (with the unfortunate death of LaVoy Finnicum and the arrest of the protest leaders) Dylan was leaving the refuge (as he had been asked to do) when he was arrested by the FBI. The media has not covered Dylan  as much as the Bundy’s or some of the other players in this event, but he is suffering the same consequences, and is in need of help from those who are able.

Dylan did not take part in any criminal activity, yet he has been held without bail in Portland, OR since January 27, 2016  for taking part in a political protest along with the others who were at the refuge.

Meanwhile, his wife has been forced to take a second job to take care of the growing bills and expenses associated with Dylan being detained and to compensate for the lost income he would provide for her and his widowed mother.

Dylan is not a rancher and joined this movement only because he strongly believes in the freedom the American people deserve. He chose to stand for something he believed in and for those who were not able to come stand for their rights and freedom themselves. Please stand with Dylan and his family now as they are fighting to regain his freedom.

Note that there are ethical considerations for any attorney using funds raised from third parties.  Such a firm’s fiduciary duty must only run to the client(s), if any, that it would represent to challenge SB277 and such representation cannot be influenced by third parties. Hence, if sufficient funds are raised and hence not refunded, they shall be an irrevocable gift that does not entitle the gifter to any rights, legal representation, or influence, in any manner whatsoever, related in the representation of any client(s) of any firm using these funds. The only client to whom such firm will owe a fiduciary duty, whose direction it will follow, and whose interests it is fiduciary bound to protect will be the actual plaintiffs on whose behalf the firm may seek to challenge SB277. Such are the ethical restrictions that any such law firm must abide.

Tekton/TheologyWeb Legal Defense Fund

In July 2015, 20 members of the TheologyWeb forum were named as targets of a “libel” lawsuit by a former atheist member. Two of us are pictured who are public figures among the 20, including myself.

So far only one (me, James Patrick Holding) has been served with complaint and summons, and litigation is in process. Of the remaining 19 people, many are vulnerable because of their limited incomes, or because of serious health issues for themselves or their family.

An attorney has been hired, and for the past several months has been working on the case. A win for me in court will help shield the other 19 targeted defendants. We humbly ask for the assistance of others in defending ourselves from this lawsuit.

Any funds gathered will be used as follows:

1)      To defray my attorney expenses.  Currently we are working on a motion to dismiss the case based on lack of personal jurisdiction (I do not live in the same state as the Plaintiff).

2)      To prepare a similar defense for any of the others in the group, should they be served with a suit.

3)      To prepare an alternate defense, should either 1) fail, or should one of us be sued in our own home state.

Let Freedom Ring for Justice

I am making this page for my younger brother Ethan Turner. He has been convicted of second degree sexual offence and 2nd degree assault and will be sentenced on April 7, 2016 in Baltimore, MD. He is an innocent man found guilty of heinous crimes he is not capable of committing. In this his case he was convicted from the testimony from the alleged victim. Her account of the story changed over four times from her very first interview with police. At the time of the alleged incident she had a BAC level of .17. There were no other witnesses that put my brother with this young lady. There was never any DNA evidence that matched Ethan's profile. The lead detective in the case had a mild seizure in the middle of him lying on the stand. The girl and her family received millions of dollars prior to anyone ever being convicted of a crime. This money came from John Hopkins university, the same university that is under a federal investigation due to their poor response to sexual assault on its campus. If anyone can help us with this it will be greatly appreciated.

Fathers Rights Custody Battle

My daughter and I have an amazing bond as I was her main caretaker since birth. Her mother has become extremely hateful and vindictive since our split using our child as a weapon to control and hurt me any chance she gets. I am in the process of rebuilding my life and trying to remain a good father at the same time but the legal system is designed to allow me no rights what so ever since I was not married to my ex. This is a broken legal system and I now have to spend an unknown amount of money on lawyers just to have a place in my childs life. I work and do side jobs but the lawyers are simply to expensive and I do not want money to interfere with whats right. My baby needs me as much as I need her and any help I receive is appreciated more than words can explain. I am happy to show where every penny is spent. Help Disabled Veteran know his children

In 2007, my ex-wife and I got a divorce and had a fair visitation agreement then 6 years ago, her and her parents stopped following the agreement. I am 50% disabled through the VA and live off $1024 a month. I have recently been diagnosed with COPD and IBS and with the added physical problems; it makes it impossible for me to supplement my income. My kids are 12 hours away and I need help financially to be able to visit with them so that the judge over time will reinstate my visitation rights. I did not choose to not see my children I was always there it was their mom and grandparents that refused to let me have contact! Now I have to go back through a legal battle again to regain my rights I beg that you can help me get the funds I need to travel and go through the many court appearances that it will take anything helps thank you!

Save Amanda from fraudulent charges!

My daughter was arrested on felony charges in Pasco County Florida on January 21st 2016. She has been in jail on a bond amount of $185.000 for crimes that are just not possible. She had just moved to the residence where the arrests were made not thirty days prior. The sheriff's department arrested five other people at this residence and continue to arrest others being accused in this crime ring. The sheriff's department would have us believe that my 110lb.daughter who does not even own a vehicle, to be the ring leader in a major drug trafficking, stolen vehicles, chop shop running, stolen hauling trailer, stolen property, sawed off shot gun, automatic weapons with ammo plus paraphernalia crime leader. This is absolutely not possible, no way,no how! Amanda is being used as an escape goat to munipulate her through fear of a life in prison if she doesn't put her life on the line to Snitch out all the real players. This state has already seen tough financial cutbacks leading experts to believe under the current caseloads of the public defenders office, that it is in violation of the 6th Amendment of the United States Constitution . This leads to public defenders that say it is impossible to do their jobs properly. Which would explain why 80% of those charged with a felony are indigent.
