Hello! My name is Sam and I am a 30 year old Indian American born in the United States. Last year, my grandmother who raised me was tragically killed in an accident which left my entire family devastated and resulted in my mother being hospitalized over an extended period of time. I was so overcome with grief I could not work, lost my job, and felt hopeless.
A family friend blessed us by being there for my entire family and helped nurse my mother back to life and help me believe life could get better. After spending some time with her and seeing how happy my mother was and my family complete; I decided to propose to her.
Shortly after we were married; her true intentions were known, she never loved me, used me for a Green Card, and decided to manipulate my weakened mother and take all of our money.
She left roughly 2 months after the wedding never to be found and has been, for the past 10 months, falsely attacking, harassing, and creating falsified claims and even hired people to break into our home and try to attack us.
We are trying to get better legal service but have completely used all of our savings and the money I have been saving post work and also using to take care of my mother to the point where we are no longer able to afford an attorney and still are being harassed and terrified for our safety.
We have informed the authorities, they are unable to do much as they stated and she refuses to sign the annulment petition even though she ran away over 10 months ago and we have not seen her since; but continues to do cyber fraud and harass us and we have no idea what to do and how to come up with money to save our lives.
