McKinley "Mac" Phipps has been in jail for 15 years on a charge he is innocent of. His attorney, Buddy Spell recently spoke out about the case in an interview on the Huffington Post.
Despite the facts that another man confessed to the crime, and the Prosecuting office had no physical evidence, Mac was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison by an all white jury.
We are raising funds to aid in Mr. Spell's attempts to gain Justice for Mac. All net proceeds of funds raised will be donated to Mr. Spell for his legal fees in this case.
