"A Diamond In The Rough" Free Michael Mack-Shabazz

Drumroll my GSU family and friends alike. Its time the real step up, pitch in and help free our alumnus brother Michael Mack- Shabazz. The brother has been on lock in Louisiana (yes the state with the highest incarceration rate) since his graduate school days at GSU. After nearly two decades, Ivan Daigs also of GSU, who is now an attorney in that area, can have him home this year. But of course, alumni or not, that comes with a fee. His fee is $10,000. He wants $6,500 up front. We have already raised over half of the up front money off line. We now need the remaining $3,000 of the up front money to get this brother back into court and then back into society where he can help better his community. Michael Mack-Shabazz has a solid business plan for a mentorship program, influential people in his community backing it, and a burning desire to mentor troubled youth once he is home. For all who personally know this brother, we must agree he has a way at reaching people and could make a positive impact on society.
