This fight that we are in started 18 years ago. Our world was flipped upside down and very quickly, we learned that the "Justice System" is anything but just. Our father has now been in prison almost 15 years and we have basically been in appeals since the time of the trial that took place almost 16 years ago. As I am sure you can imagine, the legal fees over this time period have been enormous. The generosity of friends and family have allowed us to continue to fight. It has not all been fruitless, and we have had several charges dismissed. We are now entering the Supreme Court of Kentucky. The truth and the facts are on our side and always have been. We just need justices who will look at the law and not worry about the political impact of a difficult decision.
To continue this fight we need some financial help. We currently have an outstanding balance of $23,000 and this next step will be between $10,000 - $15,000.
