Help! Jailed for Medical Cannabis!

Last month, my brother, Nick, was arrested, charged with 3 felonies, and jailed for allegedly having 8 small cannabis plants that he uses for medicinal purposes. He suffers from vertigo, hearing loss, pressure and ringing in his ears, dizziness, and loss of balance. He has been treated for symptoms of Meniere's disease for many years now but has found that the only thing that truly helps him, is cannabis. Many people with Meniere's find relief with cannabis use. Since he is now being drug tested, he has to take antivert and phenergan, which make him lethargic and even harder for him to function.
To make matters MUCH worse, when Nick and my mom (Rochelle) were walking out of the courtroom, for Nick's hearing, the police arrested her, took her to jail, and charged her with a felony for "permitting drug abuse". She has been suffering from severe anxiety since this all happened and has been in the hospital for several days. This has taken a serious toll on her health and has become a massive financial burden on us to fight. Rochelle's case has been completed, after bailing her out the following day, and with a very reputable attorney's help.
We would like to hire the same attorney that we used for my mom's case, but unfortunately, we do not have the money for it. Jonathan Fox is the attorney we would like to hire and he is confident that he can get Nick's case to where we need it to be for him to avoid any jail time, which would severely hurt his children.
Where we completely understand that this is currently illegal in Ohio, it was still a victimless crime, no one was hurt, Nick and Rochelle are not threats to society. This saved his life. Medical cannabis is legal in 29 states and D.C. and was also passed in Ohio back in January. Although Nick's condition, along with most others wouldn't be covered. Please help us fight this. Anything at all will help. Your donation, whether big or small could mean a great deal to my family. Thank you for your support. If, by some off chance, we are able to raise the funds needed, we will donate any excess funds to NORML to support ending cannabis prohibition. Thank you again for reading.
