Rescue Dayne - A Fight for Fatherhoodhttps://d30pl5hav4s8uw.cloudfront.net/campaigns/24af2434fbb5420eacc6d47d69fa15f4.jpg?cb=1498575925

13 months.

It's been 13 long, trying months since Bo Weaver has seen his son. He has been fighting hard for his parental rights for 2 1/2 years (Jan '15).

The Hays County court system is failing Bo and his 11-year-old son, Dayne.

Another Father's Day will pass without Bo seeing his boy. Another Father's Day when they won't watch baseball, play video games, and goof around together like loving fathers and sons do.
Another weekend without chores and math homework.

I'll spare the details for updates and blog posts, but there have been actions by the mother's attorney and the judge that could be seen as Judicial Misconduct by the judge and numerous Ethics Violations by the attorney.
Just days after this video was filmed of Bo and Dayne doing some math homework, the mother and her lawyer filed for a bogus temporary restraining order. The assertion was that Dayne was deathly afraid of his father and needed to be removed from him immediately.

The video shows that not to be the case.

Since then, things have taken a turn for the worse. Judges have changed, and though consistently current with child support, Bo now owes in an excess of $170,000 in the mother's legal fees.
We are not asking for donations to go toward the lawyer's legal fees. We are asking for help with the appeals process, specifically, obtaining the court reporter's records, and securing the right representation, pro bono, if at all possible.

Meanwhile, because he can't pay such excessive fees, he has to spend every weekend in the Hays County Jail, being further separated from his son.

Anyone who has ever seen Dayne and Bo together knows that they have a good thing going, and they love each other.

Bo needs Dayne. Dayne needs Bo.

Many men would walk away in the face of such trials and tribulations, but Bo persists. Help us help him fight for his parental rights. Help Dayne have his loving father back.

Thank you,
A
